Tamas v. State of Washington

HBSS has filed a case against DSHS for the organizations inability to act on numerous complaints of physical abuse, sexual abuse, physical neglect, sexual exploitation and licensing violations concerning a foster parent and his relationship with three young girls.

DSHS and its employees and agents didn’t appropriately assess, screen and reject unsuitable foster home applicants which lead to the physical harm and emotional distress of HBSS’s clients.
